Resident reservations are accepted the first business day of February annually for that particular calendar year.  
Non-Residents begin 2 weeks following.

Emmerling Community Park

This park is located on Cove Run Road and consists of 59 acres of land. Facilities at the park include three picnic pavilions, a gazebo, two additional shelters, three playing fields, large parking lot, playground structures, public restrooms and a concession stand. The park also has a walking trail completed with benches and a scenic waterway.

The park is open to the public from sunrise to dusk, every day. However, portions of the park are closed to the public during the summer camp program which usually takes place mid-June through the end of July each year. The closure begins at 8:30 am and ends 1:00pm, Monday-Friday.

  • Dogwood Pavilion
  • Laurel Oak Pavilion
  • Gazebo

There are two playground structures within the park, one located between Old Mill Dam Pavilion and the concession stand, the other is directly next to Laurel Oak Pavilion.

Restrooms are available in the middle of the park, connected to the concession stand. As well, Laurel Oak has restrooms immediately adjacent to the picnic area.

Emmerling Community Park is also the venue for Indiana Township's Youth Day event annually. This is a FREE event for the Community and supports the D.A.R.E. Program! Check the Youth Day link on our website for specific dates and activities.

Middle Road Community Park

This park is located on Red Maple Lane, off Middle Road, directly behind the Middle Road Volunteer Fire Department and consists of 40 acres of land. Comprised of 5 athletic fields, a picnic pavilion, playground structure, concession stand, a small grove and large parking lot this park is a beautiful setting for picnics!

Rural Ridge Community Parklet

This small parklet is located on Crawford Run Road and is next to the Kevin M. Brozek Community Center. Consisting of a small pavilion, basketball court, athletic field and basketball court, this area is tucked away next to Rural Ridge Estates and offers a small intimate area for your gathering.

Dorseyville Community Parklet

This neighborhood parklet is located off Saxonburg Boulevard, on Charles Street. It consists of a small pavilion (not available for rent) and tennis court.

Indianola Community Parklet

This neighborhood parklet located off of Route 910 on Washington Drive. This park consists of a basketball court, a playground structure, and a small pavilion (not available for rent).
