  • Duquesne Light - Info on new High Transmission Line

      

    On TUESDAY, JUNE 13, 2017, Duquesne Light, held a meeting at the Town Hall Community Center from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm to discuss a new 138-kilovolt transmission line from the Pine Creek Substation on Dorseyville Road in Indiana Twp. to the West Deer Substation on Route 910 in West Deer Township.

    Interested residents were invited to attend this meeting to see an overview of the project, as well as to voice their concerns and/or questions.

  • Summer Camp Calendar - June 19-July 21, 2017

  • Reporting traffic concerns

      

    You can report traffic problems by calling the police department at 412-767-5333 ext. 315 at any time or by e-mailing your concerns to traffic@indianatownship.com .  Officers will gather the information and attempt to correct the problem by increased enforcement, contacting a specific violator, or contacting other agencies for items such as additional signage. If the traffic problem is an emergency or urgent such as a road rage incident, please call 911 immediately.





  • Emmerling Community Park CLOSED during Summer Camp hours!

      

    Emmerling Community Park will be closed to the public Monday-Friday, 8:30am-1:30pm beginning Monday, June 19th through Friday, July 21st. 

    Laurel Oak pavilion will remain open during these times for anyone wanting to utilize a pavilion or playground equipment.

    This closure is to ensure all campers' safety during Summer Camp hours.

  • Open Gym Schedule

      

    Open Gym Schedule:  Thursdays: 7:00pm-10:00pm; Saturdays & Sundays: 8:00am-1:00pm. 

    Open Gym is subject to time change or cancellation by Indiana Township without prior notification if necessary.  Please be courteous to all who attend Open Gym and be sure to share the gymnasium and limit your time so all may utilize the space. 

    Please remember:  Tennis shoes (or other rubber sole shoes only), no food or beverages in the gym, all children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult 18+ years old.

  • HOLIDAYS THAT DELAY GARBAGE PICK UP

      

    If an observed holiday falls on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, garbage and recycling will be picked up on Thursday.  Observed Holidays are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Christmas.  No other holidays affect pick up.

  • American Flag Drop-off

      

    Indiana Township collects worn and tattered American Flags year round!  The collection bin is located in the vestibule of the Town Hall, 3710 Saxonburg Boulevard.  Each fall the flags are given to Allegheny County for proper retirement at the County's Flag Retirement Ceremony in North Park.  The ceremony honors all who have and continue to serve our Country and the victims of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks.  Please contribute by donating your worn flags!
