  • Help with Sewage Bills available for Twp. Sewer Customers


    There is help available for those serviced by Township-owned Sewers (Middle Roads #1 & #2 , Ottawa Hills, Fairview)

    (Program is NOT available for those with sewage in the Deer Creek Drainage Basin Authority)

  • Little Deer Creek Road to Close on March 6th


    Allison Park Contractors, Inc. will be shutting down Little Deer Creek Valley Road between the intersection of  Lefever Hill Road/Log Cabin Road and Krnyevich Lane. This section of the road is currently restricted to one lane and PennDOT has asked us to fix the hill side and road so it can be opened back up to two lanes. The road will close on March 6, 2017 and the estimated project length is roughly 2 months. Attached to this email is the detour that will be in place throughout the duration of the project.   • The gymnasium will be open Saturday, February 25th for OPEN GYM!

       The repair work is done and OPEN GYM will start on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25th, 8am-1pm!

    The Open Gym schedule is as follows:

    Thursdays, 7:00pm-10:00pm
    Saturdays & Sundays, 8:00am - 1:00pm

  • Reporting traffic concerns


    You can report traffic problems by calling the police department at 412-767-5333 ext. 315 at any time or by e-mailing your concerns to .  Officers will gather the information and attempt to correct the problem by increased enforcement, contacting a specific violator, or contacting other agencies for items such as additional signage. If the traffic problem is an emergency or urgent such as a road rage incident, please call 911 immediately.

  • Emmerling Community Park CLOSED during Summer Camp hours!


    Emmerling Community Park will be closed to the public Monday-Friday, 8:30am-1:30pm beginning Monday, June 19th through Friday, July 21st. 

    Laurel Oak pavilion will remain open during these times for anyone wanting to utilize a pavilion or playground equipment.

    This closure is to ensure all campers' safety during Summer Camp hours.

  • Indiana Township Community Center Rental Info (Brozek Community Center & Town Hall Community Center)

  • Town Hall Tennis Net and Emmerling Volleyball nets are down for the season!

       The Tennis Court located behind the Town Hall Community Center and the Volleyball Court located in Emmerling Community Park are closed for the season.  Both courts will reopen in the Spring, weather permitting.



    If an observed holiday falls on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, garbage and recycling will be picked up on Thursday.  Observed Holidays are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Christmas.  No other holidays affect pick up.

  • American Flag Drop-off


    Indiana Township collects worn and tattered American Flags year round!  The collection bin is located in the vestibule of the Town Hall, 3710 Saxonburg Boulevard.  Each fall the flags are given to Allegheny County for proper retirement at the County's Flag Retirement Ceremony in North Park.  The ceremony honors all who have and continue to serve our Country and the victims of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks.  Please contribute by donating your worn flags!
