While the Indiana Township Police make every effort to ensure the safety of our residents and their belongings, crime still happens. Over the past several years,  crimes such as burglaries and thefts have increased; not only in our community but in the surrounding areas.

While Crime Watch programs have been started in many areas of the Township and have assisted our Detectives in making arrests in crimes that have occurred over the years, we are still asking for your assistance .

When officers respond to a crime within the Township, and property has been taken, one of the problem that occurs is locating the make, models and serial numbers for televisions, lap tops, cameras, game systems, tools, firearms, jewelry, etc.

Should a theft occur at your home, it would be very helpful to our investigation if you could take a few minutes of your time and list the make, model, serial numbers and value of valuable items in your home.  If you can pictures of jewelry and other valuables this would also helpful.  If you are unable to take pictures just writing a description and value of these items would assist us.
